To Parents, and/or Guardians,

As a result of recent and numerous cell-phone violations at Springfield High School I am suspending the privilege and use of cell-phones and the BYOD policy during school hours. The suspension will take effect Thursday March 12, 2020 and last until further notice. The violations have caused a material disruption to the educational process and the student code of conduct. Some behavior could also be considered criminal under the law.  I would appreciate your support and cooperation in regard to this decision and realize it's purpose is to create a sound learning environment at the high school.

Sincerely, Anthony J. DeFelice

Principal, Springfield High School
